Main Idea......

 1. The implications of finding the main idea are we tend to get confused what the story or the paragraph was all about we need to comprehend the things that we read so as to find the main idea of the story.

 2.  For me the main idea of the selection is there are solutions to every problem. I think this is the best main idea for the selection because we are the only ones responsible for our own problems we shouldn't blame other people for our mistake or make up excuses. Excuses don't solve our problem we have to face it. One of the best example mentioned in the paragraph is the man that was alcoholic and when the doctor asked him if there's anything else he can do in the evening rather than drinking, the man had many excuses therefore, he always ended up drinking instead of doing better things.

Bonus:

    Since i became the president of my class it has been my responsibility to work with the students to resolve problems, and i have to make sure that I'm informing the school leaders and the student council of ideas emanating from my class. I also have the responsibility of leading my class cabinet meetings and organizing student activities and events. Being my class president means having a lot of responsibilities but if i really try my best i think i can make it.
